Flame Retardant Products:
FLAMEBUSTER products are non-toxic, formulations that prevent fires from starting or spreading by a chemically self-extinguishing action called intumescence. This means it swells up and chars to prevent the flame/fire from reaching the fuel (air) that it protects.
Our Wood products comply with UL 723 and meet or exceed NFPA and Building Code Standards. We do not just meet UL standards like our competitors. FLAMEBUSTER Class "A" and Class "B" wood products were UL listed until Dec. of '08. We have withdrawn our listing for economic reasons only, not because we have changed the product! The UL test report and information is still valid. We expect to re-initiate our listing when the economic climate is more favorable. Our Fabric product complies with NFPA No. 701, Life Safety Code No. 101, Section 17-4151 for Cubicle Curtains and Draperies in Nursing Homes and other Institutional Facilities and FAA Par 25.853(b) Vertical Test for Compartment Interiors

Our flame retardant products includ; flame retardant liquids suitable for use on a wide range of wood and paper products as well as synthetic and natural textile fibers and blends; an extinguishing towel for small fires (such askitchen fires) and Christmas Tree protection.
